Title: Director of Veterinary Relations and Recruiting
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities and Duties
The position will be responsible for helping Nightingale become the #1 place to work for veterinary professionals; and will be responsible for:
Practice Culture. Drive the culture of Nightingale’s practices by enhancing the collaboration, communication and professional fulfillment of the veterinarians and staff.
Medical Operations Liaison. Work with practice managers to meet the needs of our clients and address staff concerns to maintain a healthy work-life balance for the staff.
Recruitment. Recruit and retain veterinarians and veterinary technicians who best fit Nightingale’s culture of quality medicine, collaboration and ongoing innovation.
Practice Improvement: Assist the medical directors and practice managers to implement their long-term practice projects and goals to optimize practice processes, client experience and staff well-being.
Professional Development. Help our staff achieve their professional and personal goals through facilitating continuing education opportunities and ongoing staff training.

Ability to work in fast-paced, innovative and entrepreneurial environment
DVM/VMD, licensed (or ability to obtain license) in New Jersey and New York
Experience in small animal general practice
Fluent in modern veterinary practice management
Passionate about the future of the veterinary profession, practice culture and staff development
