Practice Overview Perkiomen Animal Hospital is a privately-owned small animal practice that opened in 1956. We believe in doing the ordinary extraordinarily well. We are proud to be part of this community, and our approach is always toward making a difference in the lives of our patients and clients. We have an incredible support staff that is our strongest asset and the key to our achieving everyday success. We believe we provide care that is second to none. We are well-equipped to handle anything that comes our way from a regular health check-up to emergency services too. We do all of this while making sure to have a lot of fun too!
What You Will Be Proud To Be Part Of:
Build and maintain client relationships Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases Perform small animal surgeries with opportunities for mentorship Operate diagnostic equipment, such as radiograph and ultrasound equipment and interpret the results Educate clients about various aspects of animal care and treatment Provide guidance and leadership to the team to positively influence the care being provided Train and supervise team members on animal care as needed
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania New graduates and experienced veterinarians welcome to apply Ability to work rotating Saturdays Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
