Join our team of happy faces and plan to enjoy your career as a veterinarian! We are looking for a new or recent graduate that would like to have a long term relationship with us. Be prepared to learn new skills and practice high quality medicine and surgery, while potentially expanding your areas of special interest. Our hospital stresses quality over quantity and consequently we have 30 minute appointment slots so that our doctors can take a thorough history, do a full physical examination, and then present a game plan for treatments. We have three other veterinarians on our professional staff and they are all prepared to offer guidance or second opinions on your cases. Your specific job duties will include:
Examine pets that are presented for appointment
Discuss all health issues, nutritional recommendations, and preventatives
Work up treatment plans or surgical plans and present estimates to clients
Work with the technicians to perform treatments and surgeries
Work with the other veterinarians as needed
Interact with the technicians and receptionists in a friendly and professional manner
Build your own clients who will then want to see you personally

About St. Charles Animal Hospital
Our hospital is an AAHA Certified Hospital located in Waldorf, MD. Our Medical Director is an ABVP Diplomate. We are in a free standing building with 4 exam rooms, a very large treatment area with 4 treatment tables (each with an anesthesia machine). We have both Digital Radiography and Digital Dental Radiography. Our surgery is equipped with Electrosurgery, Laser Surgery, Harmonic Scalpel, Power Orthopedic equipment, and even Advanced LED Lighting. Additionally, we have a color flow Ultrasound unit, EKG, Laser Therapy unit and even an Under Water Treadmill. Diagnostics also include a complete in house lab, multiple Olympus endoscopes and even Laparoscopy.
