Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, a privately-owned Specialty and Emergency Referral Facility based in Akron Ohio, will be expanding into our “Metro Cleveland-East” location in the Summer of 2021. We are actively recruiting 2 Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Critical Care Specialists to join our team!
The Metropolitan Veterinary group has provided specialty and emergency care for over 50 years. With an established reputation of providing the “Gold Standard” of veterinary medicine, we are excited to be growing into the Cleveland area.

Help support and work with a progressive and experienced group of Emergency doctors who value and practice high quality medicine
Work side by side with a talented nursing staff that prides itself on providing exceptional patient care
Collaborate with our specialists in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Exotics, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology; all who are very excited to have two Criticalists join our Metro family

The newly designed spacious 30,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with leading-edge technology that includes: a state-of-the-art ICU, private isolation suites, 2 digital radiography units, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and a complete in-house laboratory

In addition, Metropolitan serves as a central hospital supporting 10 primary care veterinary practices in the Akron area.
