Twin Cities Veterinary Clinic is the only privately owned full service small animal veterinary hospital in the region. Our practice is situated between the cities of Kenai and Soldotna, Alaska. Located on the scenic Kenai Peninsula we have provided veterinary care to clients and pets in this community for over 35 years. We presently employ 4 FT and 1 PT DVM. We provide care for dogs, cats, and a small number of exotic/pocket pets.
In August 2019 we moved into a new 5,700 sq ft state of the art veterinary facility. We have 6 exam rooms, 2 surgery suites, special procedures/dental room, both dental x-ray and DR radiology units, 2 U/S machines, Companion therapy laser, full complement of Idexx in house lab equipment (including Lasercyte CBC, Chem analyzer, Sedivue U/A, Snap reader).
We live in a great community with tons of outdoor/recreational opportunities. Being on the coast our climate is much similar to the midwest with somewhat shorter days in winter but long summer days allow us to stay out and enjoy the summer activites more. Summers are much more temperate with highs rarely exceeding 80 degrees.
The Kenai Peninsula is an outdoor paradise where activities abound such as hiking, biking, cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, camping, weekly summer concerts in the park... to name a few. Overall a great place to live and raise a family.
DVM or VMD Degree and active Alaska Veterinary License (or have credentials and qualifications necessary to obtain licensing in Alaska.)

About Twin Cities Veterinary Clinic
Located in Soldotna, Alaska- We are a multidoctor small animal practice that focuses on providing companion animal care to dogs and cats as well as a handful of exotic patients. We have provided veterinary service to this community for over 35 years and in August of 2019 we moved into a brand new state of the art 5,700 sq. ft. veterinary facility. We are located in a region that has limited access to specialists or referral centers which has encouraged us to develop areas of our practice beyond a typical general care practice. We currently employ veterinarians with special interests in areas of Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Exotics, Reproduction, Oncology, and Dermatology. Being somewhat rural requires us to expand our comfort level beyond only the routine for clients who cannot always logistically travel to see a boarded specialist. Our practice is well equipped and encourages development of staff and advancement of equipment with new modalities.
