VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinarian to join our team!
This is the practice you've been looking for!! We are adding another veterinarian because of our busy schedule. Veterinarian wanted for progressive, well-established 8 doctor small animal practice. We also see exotics and we work with a wolf preserve (very exciting)! Our hospital is located in Blairstown, NJ, a semi-rural town in beautiful Northwest New Jersey providing easy access via interstate 80 to New York (one hour) to the east and the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania (1/2 hour) to the west. The region offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, antique shopping, and cultural events.
We are an AAHA certified, full service, computerized practice (paperless) with in-house blood machines, sedivue, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, ECG machine, high speed dental unit, dental x-ray, fluid pumps, Laser Therapy, etc. And of course, we have a CT machine. We use it for our dentals, as well as the rest of the body. We have all the toys and know how to use them! An Oncologist is directly associated with our practice as well to provide complete cancer care.
We have organized rounds every day for each animal in the hospital. Mentorship always available. Collaboration among doctors is routine. We have a heavy surgery and dentistry caseload along with the many medicine cases. Special interests are encouraged and supported. Our certified technicians are well utilized.
