... you might find your calling in rural veterinary medicine!
We are a small, but growing, practice in Morgan County, and we are looking for a Veterinary Associate to grow with us. At our office, you will never be bored; you will work with other vets willing to mentor and learn from you, and you will be supported by dedicated staff who are passionate about helping others and who love to laugh along the way.
Our ideal applicant is interested in both medicine and surgery, although we can be flexible in how much of each you would do. Giving high-quality customer service is a top priority for us, as is a genuine concern for both the animals and the people attached to them. We are looking for a motivated self-starter, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. We place a high value on honesty, personal integrity, professionalism, and communication skills. Your specific skill set is less important than your openness to learning and willingness to take direction.
After-hours emergencies are sent to the ER; however, we will see daytime emergencies. Work weeks are kept as close to 40 hours/week as possible.
