Situated between multiple state parks, Michigan City is a town of approximately 35,000 people on the shores of Lake Michigan along the border of Indiana and Michigan. We have beautiful residential areas along the lake and a great deal of recreational activities associated with watersports and numerous hiking trails. An hour’s drive from Chicago provides easy access to the cultural and social scene of a world-class city while still living in a friendly “small town” atmosphere.
We are a progressive AAHA small animal hospital that prides ourselves on providing high quality medicine with a reputation for compassionate care. We currently have 4x doctors, 6x RVN's and a support staff of 20 including a full-time CVPM. We use the most up-to-date techniques in diagnosing and treating small animals. (Radiology suite: CT scanner, full-body DR, digital dental, ultrasound; Surgery Suite: laser, laparoscopic, orthopedic; Rehabilitation & Alternative: cold laser therapy, acupuncture, ozone, stem cell; In-house lab, etc.) We operate as a paperless practice currently using eVetPractice. Our 12,450 sq. ft. facility received the 2005 Hospital Design Competition Merit Award for excellence in veterinary hospitals. Our facility gives us the flexibility to continue our growth and provide the latest care for our patients and a comfortable environment for our clients and staff. We also have on site dorm style rooms for students while completing their externship. In addition to small animal pets we also treat the animals at the local Washington Park Zoo and many of the local law enforcement agencies.
