Virginia Veterinary Centers is growing again, and we are looking to hire an Emergency Veterinarian Department Leader.This position will be for our Midlothian, VA location which currently operates as a satellite for Richmond and will be expanding into a larger new facility in 2022. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience, with additional DVM management or leadership experience preferred.
The ER Department Leader will work closely with the Hospital Director, Medical Director, and Client Services Managerto implement processes to improve patient care and client services. The ideal candidate will prioritize interacting with all ER DVMS and ECC technician teams, as well as the VVC specialty departments, to optimize department functions and team relations.

Our current referral services include boarded specialist in Surgery, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and Dentistry. Our facilities offer CT, radioactive iodine therapy, and minimally invasive surgery. We are fully equipped for Critical Care including a new ventilator.
