Companion Animal Hospital in Santa Cruz is looking for a veterinarian to join our team! We are a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for our pet patients, as well as provide informative and supportive services for clients. New and experienced candidates are welcome!
We are a well-equipped hospital in-house labs, digital radiology, cold laser therapy, and digital dental radiology, allowing our doctors to provide the highest quality of care. Our ideal candidate would have a strong interest in dentistry and preventative care, as we feel that's the best way to long term wellness for our patients. We also value strong communicationskills, as we want our clients to be well informed parts of their pet's care team.
Santa Cruz is known for its moderate climate, natural environment, coastline, and redwood forests. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is California's oldest amusement park and a designated State Historic Landmark. Santa Cruz has 11 world-class surf breaks, including the point breaks over rock bottoms near Steamer Lane and Pleasure Point, which create some of the best surfing waves in the world. Other watersports are plentiful, including fishing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, and paddling. If you prefer to stay dry, there are many opportunities for hiking, camping, cycling and disk golf. Art fairs, musical acts, and theater round out the Santa Cruz experience.
