We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual who would like to make unique Southern California their home. SoCal Equine Hospital is a multiple DVM practice located in Norco, CA, known as “Horse Town USA.” We are also proud to have added another outstanding equine facility located in Apple Valley. The office is open five days a week with 24/7 on-call services. The inland empire and high desert regions are densely populated equine areas with enormous potential. We have a large client base and are adding new clients daily as we provide quality service to both our communities and referring veterinarians.
We are searching for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, self-driven Equine Veterinarian for full-time ambulatory, outpatient primary care work with some emergencies. The schedule includes four weekdays, two weekends per month, two weeknights per week, and shared holidays. Our equine patients are comprised of performance horses of nearly every discipline and a variety of pleasure and backyard horses.
California License Required
DVM or equivalent

You must have excellent communication and client service skills and enjoy working in a collaborative team-based environment. Be someone who desires to perform all aspects of equine veterinarian care, ambulatory duties, and serving patients in the hospital if you choose to keep the case. The position has shared emergency call rotation as we provide 24/7 services. You must have a great attitude and be willing to work. We would like you to have at least one year’s experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Compensation is based on experience. We would ideally like someone looking for long-term employment who may be interested in a future partnership.
SoCal Equine Hospital is a privately-owned equine referral center and general practice that includes small animal reproductive services. We offer referral, specialty services, and general practice services for horses on a routine and emergency basis in surgery and internal medicine. We collaborate with other specialists, including ophthalmologists, cardiologists, internists, and dermatologists, on an as-needed basis. Our general practice equine client base is constantly growing. We are one of the most reliable and competent equine practices in the area, providing all services, including sports medicine, dentistry, advanced imaging, immunization and wellness, regenerative medicine, reproduction, pre-purchase, and 24/7 emergency care. Our newest additions will include a standing CT unit and services in the Apple Valley and surrounding areas.
