We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join us at Alder Trail Animal Hospital.
WHY CHOOSE US: – We are a privately owned full-service 1 doctor, small animal practice located in charming Bremerton, Washington. Our hospital is well-established, rapidly growing and we are looking for an Associate to grow with us. We know our clients and patients by name and multiple generations of families and pets come through our doors. We take pride in providing high-quality medicine and developing individualized, comprehensive patient care while considering the needs of pet owners. Our staff gets along great with each other, always keeping us laughing! Recent graduates will find that our experienced, cross-trained support staff is dedicated to helping them provide optimal care for our clients.
We offer exceptional work/life balance with a 4-day work week, alternating Saturdays, No Holidays or after- hours emergencies. Our hospital is open M-F from 8-6 pm with a 2-hr. lunch & Saturdays 8-1. Each doctor does surgery 2 mornings a week and the rest appointment time. Our 4 exam rooms and surgical suite allow for flexibility with appointments. The last appointment of the day is scheduled between 5:00 & 5:15. We respect family and personal time and are almost always out the door on time. We encourage involvement in the community
WHAT YOU WILL DO: We provide comprehensive medical care including but not limited to general examinations, medical work ups, surgeries (soft tissue and orthopedics), dentistry, and radiology. Although our doctors see primarily dogs and cats, we also care for a wide variety of other pets including ferrets, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, & hamsters, etc. in addition to the occasional snake, Bearded Dragon, Iguana, or chameleon. Full diagnostics include digital radiology, endoscopy, ultrasound (in-house & Board Certified), cardiology, EKG, Class IV therapeutic laser, in-house chemistry panels, in-house laboratory & in-house pharmacy. We even offer puppy socialization classes!

Alder Trail Animal Hospital is a family owned & operated, well established predominately SA practice. Our hospital has been caring for pets and their owners in Bremerton since 1974. Although our doctors see primarily dogs and cats, we also care for a wide variety of other pets including ferrets, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, & hamsters, etc. in addition to the occasional snake, Bearded Dragon, Iguana, or chameleon. We have a growing, diverse clientele and are looking for someone with a strong desire to grow with us and become an integral part of our animal health care team. Our cases involve all aspects of companion pet medicine from dentistry, surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic), ultrasound, rigid endoscopy, laser therapy, etc. We have an experienced staff and place an emphasis on client education. Recent graduates will find a supportive environment where we are dedicated to helping you succeed in providing optimal care for our clients. A sense of humor is appreciated.
