We are seeking a veterinarian to join the Home with Dignity family to help establish a new market in San Antonio, TX. As a Home with Dignity Doctor, you will receive one-on-one training from our founder, Dr. Jim Humphries, who has used his lifetime of experience to create a unique and best-in-class approach to end-of-life care. You will also receive all of the freedom that only this type of practice allows: freedom from long days on your feet in the hospital, freedom from unappreciative clients, freedom from complicated team dynamics, freedom from strict schedules, and more. Home With Dignity offers a highly competitive compensation package of 30% production, $100k base with no negative accrual, and a $75k signing bonus. The ideal candidate for a Home with Dignity doctor will have at least 5 years of clinical experience. Compassion, patience, communication and people skills are all critical to success in this special kind of practice. While you will be surrounded by supporting members of the Home with Dignity team, it is also important that you have an entrepreneurial spirit to help drive growth in your geographical territory by maintaining strong connections with referring veterinary hospitals.

Home with Dignity is a unique house-call veterinary practice originally founded in Colorado Springs with a sole focus on end-of-life care (primarily in-home euthanasia). Home with Dignity was started by Dr. Jim Humphries, a leader in both local and national veterinary organizations. He is a well-known national media veterinarian, speaker, author, and workshop leader. He founded the American Society of Veterinary Journalists, and the Veterinary News Network. For 30 years he has taught media, marketing, and communications at all the state VMA meetings and leadership groups and he has spoken to practically every national meeting in the US and Canada. In 2012 he became an Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After a full career in both practice and leadership, Dr. Jim began Home with Dignity to fill an obvious need in the veterinary space.
