This position is significantly hands-on for the veterinary technician, working independently and helping out the medical staff in a group-centric environment.

Our practice is highly focused on preventative care, therefore the candidate should be proficient in exam room protocol, patient restraint, client education, radiograph, veinipuncture, reading fecals/cytology, urinalysis, and performing in house bloodwork. Must also be comfortable independently monitoring anesthesia during surgerical procedures.  Experience with dental cleaning/scaling, and dental radiograph are highly preferred. Computer skills are required as the practice works on a cloud-based management software.

This position has a guarantee of 35-40 hours. We strive to provide the entire team with a work/life balance which is why employees rarely stay past scheduled hours.

A registered technician is highly preferred, if not four years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1-to 2 years of anesthesia.
