PT/FT opening for equine practitioner in our independently owned private practice. Practice is located in Baltimore-Annapolis-D.C. corridor. Currently employing 4 FT practitioners, this is an expansion opening, therefore an opportunity for someone to create their own niche. A specific need is a certified animal chiropractor, equine dentist, board certified surgeon, or internal medicine specialist. New graduates who apply will be funneled to our internship program. Currently (05/2022) employ 4 full-time veterinarians (one full-time equine surgeon), 15 veterinary assistants, 4 secretaries, 4 animal caretakers, and 1 lab technician along with a steady flow of students and externs/interns. We are a busy full-service veterinary facility along with working horse farm with breeding and training. We all ride! Emphasis on team spirit and life fulfillment. A strong applicant must love horses and veterinary medicine. We have had good success with part-time employees, so qualified applicants interested in part-time are encouraged to apply as well.
