Clinical Veterinary Fellow – Veterinary Medicine Administration
Position Description: Auburn University is seeking applications for a Clinical Veterinary Fellow position at the Auburn University Equine Source Plasma Program at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Individuals with a DVM or equivalent degree and experience in equine medicine are encouraged to apply. The Clinical Veterinary Fellow position is a 12-month, annually renewable non-tenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include working with draft breed equine species and performing the following: health maintenance and clinical veterinary oversight duties for project animals, veterinary care and oversight of technical and laboratory procedures associated with plasmapheresis, maintenance of health records in accordance with standard operating procedures, supervision of project personnel regarding care and use of animals, after hours and emergency care of project animals as required, and responsibility for veterinary expertise, oversight and assistance in any associated project activities as required.
