We are a successful practice on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC and are seeking an urgent care veterinarian to join our team. The urgent care veterinarian will offer after hours and weekend care for non-life-threatening emergencies to our clients and the community. The right candidate will have a highly positive attitude and excellent communication skills. The candidate will need to work independently; however, consultation with other veterinarians will be available. 

Our hospital is located in Mint Hill, NC which is a thriving suburb just east of Charlotte. Mint Hill offers some of the highest rated public schools in the area, as well as charter and private schools. We are close to the big city and all the activities it has to offer, but still have the small-town community appeal. Charlotte is in a wonderful area of the state as we are only 2.5 hours to the mountains and 3.5 hours to the beach. There is always something to do!

Our hospital is well established and quickly growing. The staff is friendly, well trained and stable. We are a Fear Free Certified Hospital with all the staff achieving Level 1 certification and most achieving or working on Level 2 and 3. Other than providing excellent medicine and surgery, our focus is the client experience, therefore excellent customer service skills are a must. We enjoy forming long-term relationships with our clients.

The hospital is fully equipped in surgery, offers digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound, in-house blood analyzers, laser therapy, tonometry, cryosurgery, etc. Pay will consist of a base salary (commiserate with experience), plus a production bonus. Paid vacation, 401k, health insurance, and an allowance for CE and dues are also offered.

At least one year of internship or post-graduate clinical experience is required for this position
