Cold Hollow Veterinary Services is searching for someone to join our team in Northern Vermont! Our practice serves primarily bovine and equine (some small ruminants) species across Northern Vermont. We are looking for someone who is equine oriented, and willing to help bring our services to the next level. Our equine clientele is diverse, and includes backyard companions, work/drafts, sport/eventing horses, donkeys, and more. Currently we provide routine care, lameness exams, PPE's, gastroscopy, reproductive services, acupuncture, and emergency service. Though the majority of this job will be equine focused, working with other large animal species will be expected. On calls are split evenly among 6 veterinarians, with 2 vets being on call per night.
Cold Hollow Veterinary Services is an established, 5-6 doctor practice ambulatory practice in Northern Vermont. The practice serves approximately 60% dairy, 30% equine, and 10% small ruminants. Veterinarians are competant in all large animal species, but the practice is currently seeking someone with an equine focus. Our practice carries bloodwork units for CBC, Chemistry, and Istat bloodwork. Also accessable are 5 ultrasound units, endoscope, digital x-ray equipment, and 2 dental powerfloats. The practice also employs 2 office staff, and 2 part time road assistants.
