Hello! We are a privately owned veterinary hospital in the beautiful historic town of Poulsbo, WA. We are looking for a full-time (would consider part-time) small animal veterinarian to join our practice family! We offer our clients a close-knit community and personalized care for their pets - which is getting tougher to find in the growing sea of corporate medicine. We are a full-service medical and surgical facility and our operating hours are 8-6, M-F. We see some urgent care cases during business hours, but there are no on-call or emergency shifts. We value and encourage time away from work and recognize the need for a good life-work balance in our industry.
Services include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery (CBLO, advanced fracture repairs, MPL, etc.), full medical work-ups with day hospitalization and transfers for overnight care, a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, radiology and ultrasound services (a board-certified radiologist visits the practice weekly), and more. We will mentor new graduates and we encourage ongoing learning throughout one’s career.
We offer our veterinarians either production or salary - we are happy to discuss options for fair compensation in today’s market.
