Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Hospital Administrator with a specialization in Oncology to join our compassionate team. As a Veterinary Hospital Administrator in our Oncology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our oncology services, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our veterinary oncologists and staff.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Leadership: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the oncology department. Develop and implement effective administrative policies and procedures tailored to oncology services.
Financial Management: Budget planning and management specific to the oncology department. Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and make recommendations for cost-effective operations.
Human Resources: Recruitment, training, and management of oncology support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Patient Care Coordination: Ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow within the oncology department. Collaborate with veterinary oncologists to provide seamless patient care.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards. Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for oncology services.
Client Relations: Act as a point of contact for oncology clients, addressing inquiries and concerns. Promote excellent client communication and satisfaction.
Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and management of oncology-specific supplies and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records.
Facility Maintenance: Ensure the oncology department's physical space is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, Hospital Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Previous experience in veterinary hospital administration, with a focus on oncology services. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of veterinary software and administrative tools. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service.
