We are looking for 2 full-time veterinarians who are confident with canines, friendly with felines and excited by exotics. We do a wide range of surgical procedures both soft tissue and orthopedic. An interest in holistic and regenerative medicine and physical therapy would be an advantage. We never stop learning and have all the diagnostic tools at your disposal including on-site lab, ultrasound, digital radiographs, fluoroscopy, CT scan, MRI. mentoring and CE provided. All digital records. In addition we have excellent support staff and seasoned technicians who assist with record keeping so you can go home at the end of the day. Safari has 2 clinics one which sees first opinion and one sees first opinion and referral cases. Both are privately owner practices with a non-corporate feel and long-term partnership prospects.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas
1-3 years of experience in small animal medicine for Pearland clinic
Safari Veterinary Care Centers have two locations near Houston TX. Both clinics see small animal and exotics. The League City clinic sees first opinion and referral cases and is situated three miles from NASA. the Pearland clinic sees first opinion cases only. We are looking to increase from 6 to 8 doctors. We believe in constant education of both staff and clients. We diagnose before we treat and have Idexx in house lab testing equipment, direct digital radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI and ultrasound, we have endoscopy, laser surgery and state of the art anesthesia systems. We have pioneered stem cell therapy for IVDD and have a rehabilitation facility. We are able to board and treat all kinds of exotics including reptiles.
