Creekview Veterinary Center is happy to host externs! We are part of Buffalo Veterinary group - 9 privately-owned AAHA-certified hospitals located in suburban Buffalo, NY. Two of our hospitals are open 24/7 for urgent and emergent care. This allows for comprehensive patient care, diversity in caseload, and plenty of learning opportunities.
The ideal candidate is interested in practicing high quality medicine, is patient and personable, and communicates well. It is also important to be self-motivated and eager to increase your knowledge. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills are invaluable. Our facilities are equipped with full in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, digital x-ray and digital dental, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser, ocular tonometry, sevoflurane anesthesia, blood products, acupuncture, a complete pharmacy and EzyVet Software with VetRadar patient management. Green Acres, our largest practice, also offers ER, Internal Medicine including CT, endoscopy, echocardiography, ultrasound, as well as advanced surgical care.
