Wellborn Road Veterinary Medical Center (WRVMC) in College Station, TX is searching for a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our progressive small animal practice. With state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive team environment, WRVMC offers an ideal setting for veterinarians seeking growth and continuous learning opportunities. Equipped with ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, an in-house IDEXX lab, and a fully stocked pharmacy, you will have the resources to provide high-quality care to our patients.
As a veterinarian at WRVMC, you will collaborate with experienced professionals in a welcoming environment focused on mutual respect and shared expertise. The role involves a 4-day workweek and rotating weekends, shared with three other doctors, providing a balanced combination of routine and complex cases. The position also allows part-time consideration for suitable candidates, offering a mentor-friendly environment for new graduates looking to build their skills. You will have the opportunity to practice a full spectrum of care, from wellness exams and diagnostics to emergency and complex surgeries.
Responsibilities include providing top-notch medical and surgical care, effective communication with clients and team members, and active engagement in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates should possess a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed to practice in Texas, and demonstrate a commitment to developing and strengthening surgical and medical skills.
