Our hospital features a fully equipped dental suite, dedicated surgery suite, heated recovery cages and warming IV fluid system, state-of-the-art anesthesia delivery systems, an IDEXX in house lab, and digital radiology. At Village East, we are looking for a Managing Doctor who looks forward to taking on challenging cases, mentoring new graduates, and collaborating with the veterinary team. The Managing Doctor, or Medical Director, is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the responsibility of creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered to keep our community smiling and the tails wagging!
Our ideal candidate has an energetic approach to growing professionally and an interest in specialized areas of veterinary care such as surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, etc. are a plus, but the freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged. Skills and Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
3+ years of experience as a veterinarian (DVM)
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Indiana
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
